First-Ever NXT UK Women’s Champion To Be Crowned At Evolution?
There could be plans for WWE to crown the first-ever NXT UK Women’s Champion at the upcoming WWE Evolution PPV.
In the latest audio update via PWInsider Elite, Mike Johnson discusses how at one point there were local advertisements in the New York City area, which advertised that the UK Women’s Championship would be decided at first-ever all women’s ppv Evolution on October 28th.
Regarding the potential crowning of the first-ever NXT UK Women’s Champion at WWE’s Evolution PPV, Mike Johnson said:
“At one point there were plans for the NXT UK Women’s Championship to be decided at the October 28th WWE Evolution pay-per-view based on local advertising here in the New York City area but we don’t have an NXT UK Women’s Champion and we will see if we get one crowned by October 28th or if they will crown on on October 28th.”
Upcoming episodes of WWE’s NXT UK TV have already been taped but have yet to air. During the tapings WWE did not determine the winner of the NXT UK Women’s Championship, so the could have held off on crowning the first-ever champion for the Evolution PPV in October.
