While speaking with a well-placed source, Bodyslam.net’s Cassidy Haynes learned that NXT Superstar Kassius Ohno is rumored to have told multiple independent wrestling promoters he may soon be available for independent bookings and appearances.
According to the source, Ohno is expecting he will be released from his WWE contract in the near future.
It is not clear at this time if Ohno requested his release or if his current deal expires soon.
It should also be pointed out that this is Kassius Ohno’s second run with the company. He was originally signed to NXT back in February 2012 and remained in WWE’s developmental territory (FCW at the time) until November of 2013. Ohno returned to the indies, and was once against signed with the company in December 2016, making his NXT debut in January of 2017.
