It appears as thought Tommaso Ciampa could return to a WWE ring sometime soon.
A fan on Twitter recently asked Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer for an update on the condition of Ciampa, and wondered if he would be back in time for the NXT Takeover Event in Philly for Royal Rumble weekend. While Meltzer didn’t give a specific return date for Ciampa, he suggested that it could be “soon”.

Ciampa has been out of action since August of this year, and has undergone multiple surgeries since to repair to his right ankle, as well as his right and left shoulders. News of him being close to a Rumble Weekend return are positive, since initial reports had him out through the first few months of 2018.
