Now it’s time for the second chance fatal 4 way cruiserweight match for a chance to face Drew Gulak on next week’s RAW where the winner will face Enzo Amore. Gulak out on commentary for the match. Lots of face paced action to start us off. Huge high spot off the top rope to the floor by Mustafa Ali. Cedric Alexander and Daivari now in the ring. Daivari with the advantage. Cedric catches Daivari with a sling shot STO. Ali and Neese back in the ring now. All four men up, trading shots back and forth. Ali nails Alexander with a huge tornado DDT. Everyone is down as we go to a commercial break.
Back from break commercials, Daivari is still in control over Ali as Gulak is on commentary saying how he is going to be the new leader of the Cruiserweight division once he becomes the champ. Building a new rivalry with Enzo even though Gulak is a member of the Zo Train currently. Ali hits the inverted 540 on Tony Nese and goves for the cover before it is broken up at two by Daivari…..Cedric Alexander hits the lumbar check on Ali but Daivari throws Cedric out of the ring and goes for the stolen cover before Alexander pulls Daivari out of the ring as Nese jumps over the ropes onto Alexander and Daivari as the constant action of the 205 live crew continues. Cedric Alexander grabs the momentum as he hits Daivari with the lumbar check and gets the win as he will face Gaba Gulak next week on Raw to determine who faces Enzo Amore for his Cruiserweight title..before the break we get a quick promo from Cedric about his “second chance” that he will take advantage of to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion…
right before the commercial we learn the Intercontinental Championship match between the Champ Roman Reigns and Cesaro will be right after the break
After an “Informative” promo between Gulak/Enzo and Nia Jax…we have Cesaro coming to the ring for his championship opportunity against Roman Reigns….after Cesaro enters the ring we get highlights from earlier this evening as we see Samoa Joe completely choke out Reigns as Sheamus throws the boots on him to make sure Reigns gets the message….next we have Roman come to the rings as JoJo announces the bout with both men finally in the ring
Cesaro storms out at the ringing of the bell but Reigns gains control as the two men exit the ring and Cesaro temporarily gains control before Roman and his power take back control as the two men trade back and forth before Roman gets the upper hand as we head to break…..The two go back and forth after the break as we see Cesaro hit Roman with a devastating foot to the face as Roman attempts a drive by on the outside….Cesaro works on Romans right arm continuously as Roman goes for a Superman punch but Cesaro counters with a stiff swipe to Romans injured arm and gets him in an armbar and switches to a crossface submission maneuver. Roman counters with a Samoan drop but Cesaro gets the momentum back with an undercut then he slams Roman’s shoulder against the turnbuckle with a hard hit but Roman regains the momentum on the outside and gets back in the ring and attempts a cover…This is a hard hitting battle between the two….Roman goes for a spear, Cesaro counters…throws Reigns in the air and hits him with a hard uppercut an nearly gets the 3 count, immediately after the kickout he grabs Roman in another crossface. after some excellent chain wrestling Roman lifts Cesaro off the mat with a messed up arm for a sitout powerbomb and gets another close 2 count kickout. We get a “This is Awesome” chant from the crowd and for the first time in a while i actually agree with the crowd. After about 15 uppercuts in the corner Cesaro goes for his neutralizer but Roman counters and flips him over his shoulders and follows up with a Spear and a pinfall victory to retain his Intercontinental Title and the Shield goes up 2 matches to Donut against the Bar/Samoa Joe with the Dean Ambrose vs. Samoa Joe match still to come
Back from commercial and Asuka and Alicia Fox is up next. Asuka out first. Foxy’s music hits, but she doesn’t show. Instead Paige’s music plays and out comes Absolution. Paige tells asuka to either move out of the way or they will make her move out of the way. Asuka runs and strikes first attacking Mandy Rose, and then Sonya DeVille. But here comes Paige. Now Absolution has the upperhand. Paige is about to hit the rampaige on Asuka, when Sasha Banks music hits. Out comes the entire womens division. Its a free for all. They chase Absolution off.
