Director Stephen Merchant announced on Instagram that post-production for biopic based on WWE Superstar Paige has finally finished.
Former WWE Superstar The Rock’s company, Seven Bucks Productions served as production company on the film. The project stars Florence Pugh (Lady Macbeth) as Paige; Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) as Paige’s mother, “Sweet Saraya”; Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead) as Paige’s father, Vince Vaughn as Jake Roberts and NXT Star Zelina Vega (Thea Trinidad) as AJ Lee. It has been reported that The Rock will also be making a cameo in the movie.
A release date for the film has not yet been announced, however the plan has been to do an advance screening during WrestleMania 34 week in New Orleans.
