It has been rumored that Dave “Batista” Bautista was one of the names considered for the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame Class. However, he may not end up being one of the members of next year’s HOF Class if a deal is reached between Batista and the WWE for a final run with the company. As you may know, it was reported yesterday that Batista is very serious about one final run with WWE.
It should also be pointed out that Dave Meltzer discussed in the latest installment of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that there are some internally within WWE that are pushing for Jim Johnston to be inducted into this years Hall of Fame Class. Johnston was WWE’s musical composer for 32 years, and as you may remember was released from the company last month. It is very unlikely however that this will happen due to the recent company politics surrounding his release.
The current list of names that have been rumored for the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame Class include The Dudley Boyz, Bam Bam Bigelow, Ivory, Kid Rock, and Goldberg as the headliner. It is always possible that more names may pop up between now and Wrestlemania weekend.
