As you may know New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 12 FanFest event kicks off in a few hours, scheduled for the event is a highly anticipated announcement of NJPW’s upcoming video game.
While nothing has been confirmed yet, it is expected the game will be released on PS4, XBOX One and Steam. The official announcement will be tonight at 10:15 pm Eastern Time. well, if you want to play this on remote play then there are very minor advantages.
Bandai Namco is the expected developer for the game as New Japan Pro Wrestling has worked with them before when NJPW branded ring gear was added to Tekken 7.
New Japan Pro Wrestling’s last true video game was Wrestle Kingdom 2 for the Playstation 2 released on May 10 2007 which also included the All Japan Pro Wrestling roster. The new video game can feature Pro Wrestling NOAH stars as NOAH is also by Bushiroad, the parent company of New Japan Pro Wrestling.
New Japan Pro Wrestling’s last dip in the sea of video games market other than Tekken 7 was a game for Android and iOS devices called Let’s Play Pro Wrestling.
