On the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer speculated on Ronda Rousey’s involvement in the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match, and noted that everyone involved is wanting to know what is going on.
Many have speculated that Rousey will be debuting in the match and possibly winning.
Meltzer noted the spot on Monday’s episode of RAW, and pointed out that Asuka’s domination Monday leads him to believe that she will not be winning the match. He says that usually WWE doesn’t telegraph the outcome in that manner.
One of the possible scenarios presented for the match was that Rousey and Asuka would be the last two competitors in the match having Rousey throw Asuka out to win. Which could conclude with a match between the two at WrestleMania 34 for the RAW Women’s Title.
