On today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer went into more detail on this week’s ongoing Enzo Amore story. As you know Monday news broke on twitter that Amore was being investigated by Phoenix Police and was accused of rape by twitter user @MissGucciWitch, Philomena Sheahan.
On Monday WWE announced the indefinite suspension of their cruiserweight champion, by Tuesday they had announced his release from the company.
Today Meltzer noted that recently Enzo had been trying to get out of his WWE contract, and that Enzo had been trying to quit to company to focus on becoming a full time rapper.
