It was first reported last week that WWE Superstar Kevin Owens has been dealing with an ongoing back injury over the last few weeks. The injury has been described as one that “comes and goes” and isn’t serious enough to require any time off to get it fixed.
It was seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live that WWE started an angle involving Kevin Owens and an injury to his left leg. It’s likely that they will feature that injury somehow in the handicap match for the WWE Championship at tomorrow night’s Royal Rumble PPV. The belief is that Kevin Owens will have a limited role in the match and will work it on a limited basis due to the injury to his back however the announce team will play up the storylined injury to his left leg.
