WWE released a very interesting promotional video hyping tomorrow night’s 2018 Royal Rumble PPV.
The video contains WWE Superstars discussing their time in the 2017 Royal Rumble Match, as well as Charlotte and Becky Lynch talking about their feelings going into the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match.
During the video the eventually get to Randy Orton, who had a very interesting reaction to last year’s Royal Rumble, and his thoughts going into Sunday’s PPV.
On seeing Roman Reigns eliminate The Undertaker, Orton said:
“Yeah, [if] memory serves me correctly, this set up the main event for WrestleMania, even though I won the damn thing and if you win The Royal Rumble – you go to the main event of WrestleMania – this [Roman Reigns vs The Undertaker] was the main event of WrestleMania. So I remember that.”
Later in the video Randy Orton re-lives his celebration after eliminating Roman Reigns from the 2017 Rumble to win the match. Orton then explains how he was still placed behind Roman Reigns on the match card for WrestleMania 33 despite winning the Rumble.
