Kenny Omega Loses IWGP US Title And Gets Kicked Out Of The Bullet Club
A new IWGP United States Champion was crowned at NJPW’s New Beginnings Day 2 Event in Sapporo when “Switchblade” Jay White defeated Kenny Omega to win the title. Following the match White was confronted by Hangman Page, only to have Kenny Omega get involved and hand the belt to White. This brought out Cody and the rest of the members of the Bullet Club.
The segment saw Cody furious over Omega “stealing Adam’s moment” and saw Cody claim that Kenny Omega was not acting like a leader. The Young Bucks then came out and tried to calm down Omega, but Omega shoved Matt Jackson to the mat, which caused the Young Bucks to slide out of the ring and leave Kenny to deal with Cody. Cody attacked Omega and kicked him out of the group, only to have Kota Ibushi run in to make the save on Omega.
