Update On Brock Lesnar And Ronda Rousey’s Next WWE Appearances
WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and new WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey are both expected to not be see on WWE programming until sometime after the Elimination Chamber PPV on February 25th.
Despite both WWE Superstars being key pieces featured in this year’s Road to WrestleMania, WWE will be playing out storylines building towards the biggest event of the year without two of their biggest names. It was reported yesterday that Rousey has returned to Columbia, South America to finish filming her next movie “Mile 22”. Filming for the film is not expected to wrap up until sometime around the same time as the Elimination Chamber PPV, indicating that she will be tied up with prior commitments and unavailable for WWE TV. As for Brock Lesnar there really is no reason to bring him back until the next #1 Contender for his Universal Title has be determined, which we now know will happen inside the Elimination Chamber on February 25th.
As of last week, rumors were still indicating the planned opponent for Lesnar’s Universal Title at WrestleMania 34 is Roman Reigns.
