According to a report from MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani, UFC officials are heavily discussing the possibility of making former CM Punk vs Mike Johnson official for UFC 225 on June 9th from Chicago, Illinois. Which as you probably know is CM Punk’s hometown.
Mike Jackson, who also holds a record of 0-1 in his UFC career the same as Punk, lost his first UFC fight to Mickey Gall for the right to face CM Punk in his debut with the company. Since then Jackson has been very vocal on social media, taking numerous jabs at Punk in hopes to stir up a potential fight.
