NJPW’s Strong Style Evolved takes place on March 25 from the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California. The event sold out in about 20 minutes, selling around 4,500 tickets.
At the time of this writing no matches have been officially added to the card, but it seems pretty safe to say that we will be seeing Rey Mysterio take on Jushin Thunder Liger.
Mysterio recently made his surprise return to WWE appearing in this year’s Royal Rumble Match. He received a huge response from fans, and it has been reported that his appearance has garnered interest in a return to the company for Mysterio. With his announcement of appearing for NJPW on March 25th, it now appears as though his WWE return will not be happening any time soon.
