In the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter the cause of death for former AWA/WWE/WCW Wrestler Tom Zenk was revealed.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled that Tom Zenk’s cause of death was due to arterial sclerosis and cardiomegaly, which means heart disease caused by an enlarged heart. Steroids and in particular, also usage of HGH over long periods of time can leads to this condition.
Zenk was 59 at the time of his passing. You can read the initial report on Zenk’s death here.
