On Today’s episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that WWE is trying to book Ronda Rousey similar to how they booked the Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon feud.
He noted that the way they are putting the storyline together is similar to the babyface going up against the authority figure.
As seen on last night’s Elimination Chamber PPV, Rousey was involved in a segment where Kurt Angle snitched on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to Ronda about how the two had been bad mouthing her behind the scenes for months. This led to Rousey getting in Stephanie’s face, which then led to Rousey putting Triple H through a table, and culminated with Stephanie McMahon slapping Rousey in the face.
It was announced earlier that Stephanie McMahon insists that Kurt Angle will need to apologize on tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, and that Ronda Rousey will have to explain herself for her actions at the Elimination Chamber PPV.
It has been reported that WWE is planning to have Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle face Stephanie McMahon & Triple H at WrestleMania 34.
