Rey Mysterio Suffers Injury Over The Weekend
It appears as though Rey Mysterio’s plans for a WWE return may have to be put on hold.
Mysterio suffered what appears to have been a torn bicep during a match Friday night for Northeast Wrestling in Waterbury, Connecticut. Mysterio teamed with Flip Gordon to face the team of Joey Mercury and Caleb Konley.
During the match Mysterio informed Joey Mercury that he had suffered an injury and Mercury was ready to call an audible for the finish of the match. However, Mysterio would continue and finish the match as planned. Fans who saw Mysterio following the match noted that there was heavy swelling to his left arm.
