As was reported Monday, WWE RAW play-by-play announcer Jonathan Coachman has been mentioned in a lawsuit filed against ESPN.
Adrienne Lawrence, a former ESPN Anchor & Legal Analyst has recently filed a lawsuit against her former employer ESPN over sexual harassment in the workplace. The lawsuit mentions several ESPN personalities including Jonathan Coachman.
WWE has responded to the reports of the allegations brought against Coachman and mention that they are investigation the allegations.
WWE stated:
“We take these matters very seriously and are investigating them.”
If Coachman was aware of the lawsuit and the allegations against him and did not inform WWE before getting hired, it could possibly end badly for him. It all depends on what WWE finds in their investigation, and how they choose to handle matters internally.
