Jeff Hardy’s Blood Alcohol Level Reportedly Three Times The Legal Limit
As has been previously reported, WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy was arrested Sunday night in Cameron, North Carolina around 10:20 pm for driving while impaired.
Hardy was reportedly driving around last night when he struck the guardrail and wrecked his car. The accident report states that Hardy was driving around and hit a guardrail. The report adds that Hardy, “ran off the roadway to the right, in turn striking about 105 feet of guardrail before the backend of the car spun out of control 90 degrees to the left, coming to rest in the middle of the right in-bound lane of travel.”
Hardy was released about one hour after his arrest, and has had his North Carolina Drivers License taken away for 30 days. He is set to go to court on April 18th for the incident.
TMZ is now reporting that Jeff Hardy submitted to a breathalyzer test and that he blew a .25 – which is more than three times the legal limit, and that he was immediately booked for Driving While Intoxicated.
WWE issued a statement earlier in the day regarding Hardy’s arrest last night saying that they are investigating the matter. It remains to be seen as to how WWE plans to handle the arrest internally.
