WWE has released a statement regarding the arrest of WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy for a DWI after crashing his car around 10:20 pm Sunday night in Cameron, North Carolina.
“Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.”
The accident report stated that Hardy, “ran off the roadway to the right, in turn striking about 105 feet of guardrail before the backend of the car spun out of control 90 degrees to the left, coming to rest in the middle of the right in-bound lane of travel.” He was then taken into custody for DWI.
Ringsidenews.com is now reporting that the accident caused about $8,000 worth of damage to Hardy’s 2016 Cadillac, and around $5,000 of property damage to the guardrail itself.
