Potential Change To WrestleMania 34 Match?
As was seen on Tuesday night’s episode of SmackDown LIVE, Shane McMahon announced that Kevin Owens will face Sami Zayn at this year’s WrestleMania.
On today’s episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez discussed Shane McMahon’s announcement on last night’s SmackDown LIVE and he speculated that the match between Owens & Zayn could end up being changed to include both Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan in some capacity. Alvarez went on to speculate that the match could be changed to a three way that would see Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn with possibly Daniel Bryan as a special guest referee.
“There are four weeks left until WrestleMania. I presume it will be Shane McMahon, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens in a three-way with Daniel Bryan as the guest referee. I don’t know that for sure, but I cannot fathom the idea that they spent this much time building up something, and then at the end of the day he’s off the show because he got beaten up. I mean they played it like it was near death, and he’s a McMahon and I presume he will be back in a few weeks and build that match up with those two guys. So, I think that match will be added to ‘Mania.”
We will keep you updated if there are any changes or additions to the WrestleMania 34 lineup.
