As seen on last night’s episode of SmackDown LIVE, Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens were fired by Daniel Bryan following their attack last week on Shane McMahon.
To help further sell this storyline, WWE has removed the Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens match from the WrestleMania 34 card. In addition to their match being removed from the WrestleMania 34 listing page, their profiles have both been removed from WWE’s roster page on their website as well.
This is really not much of a surprise as it has been expected that the match would be changed to Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan vs. Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens sometime in the next few weeks anyway. The build for their tag team match at WrestleMania 34 began on last night’s SmackDown LIVE when Owens & Zayn attacked Bryan causing him to be stretchered out and taken to a local hospital.
