UFC Star Paige VanZant Ready For WWE If The Opportunity Ever Came Knocking

UFC Star Paige VanZant has once again voiced her interest in a possible future career with WWE if the opportunity ever presented itself.

While in London earlier this week for UFC Fight Night 127, VanZant commented on Ronda Rousey’s recent transition from MMA to WWE, via a report from MMAJunkie.com. Paige added that if the opportunity ever came knocking that she would also love to work with WWE.

“It’s just another platform for us UFC fighters to make a name for ourselves. I know Ronda is going to do awesome at it, and she’s going to make a name for herself in the WWE.

I’m a fighter first and foremost, but if the opportunity ever came knocking, I’m not one to turn opportunities down. I think it’s an amazing organization, and I’d definitely love to work with them.”

This is not the first time that VanZant has expressed interest in WWE. Back in 2016 Fox Sports confirmed that WWE had reached out to VanZant about being involved in SummerSlam, Paige also revealed her interest that same year in an interview with Sports Illustrated.

VanZant stated, “We heard a little bit from them. They’re someone I’d love to partner with and work with, they’re a great organization. I’m a huge fan of WWE, and I definitely want to keep them close. Eventually, it’s still something I would love to do.”

Paige VanZant has even expressed interest in a possible WWE career as recently as January of this year. She spoke with TMZ Sports shortly after the reports of Ronda Rousey’s imminent WWE debut began to circulate saying that she loves the WWE, and that she would for sure be a good WWE diva.

“Yes. That is definitely something that I’m interested in. I love the WWE. I think that I would for sure be a good WWE Diva. We’ll see if that opportunity comes. I would definitely go for it, if they come knocking on my door, I’m taking it. I love WWE, I would love it. I have the personality for it. Yeah, when the time is right.”
