WWE SmackDown LIVE Women’s Champion Charlotte is expected to make her return to TV next week.
Charlotte was pulled from last night’s SmackDown LIVE tapings, and from her appearance on WWE Mixed Match Challenge. Charlotte was replaced on last night’s Mixed Match Challenge by Becky Lynch who was voted in after winning a “Second Chance Fan Vote” to see who would tag with Bobby Roode.
It was also reported yesterday that Charlotte underwent dental surgery last Wednesday, which was also rumored to be the reason that she missed last weekend’s WWE Live Events and was potentially the reason she was pulled from last night’s Tapings.
It now appears as though Charlotte will be returning to WWE TV next week, as WWE announced earlier today that she will be appearing in the finals of the Mixed Match Challenge Series along with Bobby Roode to face the team of Asuka and The Miz, despite being replaced by Becky Lynch on last night’s episode.
