Backstage News On New SmackDown LIVE General Manager
In a recent audio update via PWInsider Elite, Mike Johnson discussed Daniel Bryan’s status and reports that the WWE Creative Team has been told to put together a list of replacements for Daniel Bryan as the General Manager of SmackDown LIVE.
This would mean that WWE does not have anyone “set in stone” yet as the replacement for Daniel Bryan old GM role and are still compiling a list of possible names.
“Speaking of the GM, I meant to mention this earlier.. A final decision has not been made, but the creative team was told to put together a list of potential replacements for Daniel Bryan.”
It has been speculated earlier this week that Hulk Hogan could potentially be a candidate to replace Daniel Bryan as SmackDown LIVE General Manager, as the company would need a strong authority figure to head the show and the feeling is that Hogan would be a good fit.
We will keep you updated if any more news regarding the new SmackDown LIVE General Manager becomes known.
