Lars Sullivan Told To Remove April Fools Tweet Due To Policy Regarding Other Wrestling Promotions
WWE NXT Superstar Lars Sullivan took to Twitter yesterday to play a little April Fool’s joke on fans.. apparently it wasn’t received well within WWE and the company told Sullivan to remove the tweet.
Sullivan tweeted out a joke saying that when he was finished with his time in NXT that he was planning to go to NJPW. Apparently it is against company policy for WWE contracted talents to mention another wrestling promotion on social media.
Here is a screen grab of Sullivan’s tweet:
Sullivan also posted a response to being told by WWE to remove his prank. You can see that tweet embedded below:
Unfortunately I had to delete my previous tweet because I was told not to mention other wrestling federations.#AprilFools

Lars Sullivan then followed up these posts with another referencing his NXT North American Championship Match on April 7th at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans. You can see that tweet embedded below:
This is not an April Fools… I can't WAIT to get my hands on the NXT North American Championship on April 7th. The other 5 men will be left in a pile dehumanized and emasculated while DA MAN, DA FREAK… LARS SULLIVAN… reigns supreme. Thank you.
