In the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter Braun Strowman’s mystery partner for his WWE RAW Tag Team Title Match against The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) at WrestleMania 34 was discussed.
It was noted that one of the rumored names to potentially be Strowman’s partner is Chris Jericho, but as we had also reported here at bodyslam.net, that isn’t going to happen. Jericho will not be available for WrestleMania due to his band FOZZY having a concert scheduled that same day on the opposite side of the country.
Other names that have been mentioned include Rey Mysterio, who has also said that he will not be at WrestleMania. At one point it was speculated that Elias could possible end up being Strowman’s partner after their chemistry a few weeks back during the short program between the two that saw them compete in a “Symphony of Destruction” Match on RAW. However, it now appears as though you can scratch Elias off the list of potential partners as he is said to be book in a musical segment of some sort on the show.
Bodyslam.net’s own Brad Shepard reported a few weeks ago regarding Braun Strowman’s tag team partner that WWE will “probably withhold that info right up to showtime.” Which appears to be the case as we apparently will not know how Braun has chosen until Sunday’s PPV.
