Correspondents who attended Thursday night’s event, “An Evening with Paul Heyman” in New Orleans have sent in word that during the show Heyman revealed the exact time and date in which WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract will expire.
According to Heyman, Lesnar’s WWE contract expires at exactly 11:59 PM EST Sunday Night April 8th. Heyman also went on to note that his contract with WWE expires shortly after Lesnar’s and that if Brock leaves the WWE, so will he.
As has been previously reported, it is believed that Brock Lesnar will be leaving WWE once his contract expires and that he will return to the UFC. UFC President Dana White confirmed earlier in the week while appearing on UFC Tonight on FS1 that Lesnar is indeed returning to the octagon, although he could not specify exactly when that would be.
