There was an incident that occurred yesterday at WrestleCon involving Harry Smith, son of the British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith, and WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts.
According to correspondents at the event Harry Smith walked up to the booth where Jake Roberts was signing autographs, and without saying a word throws a cup of hot coffee into the face of Roberts. It was said that Security was quick to rush in and clear the area.
Police were called to the scene, but Smith had apparently left WrestleCon before they could speak with him regarding the incident.
Smith spoke to WrestleZone about the incident and revealed more details regarding what went down. It appears as though Smith felt he was owed an apology from Roberts over derogatory comments that the WWE Hall of Famer had made on numerous podcasts about his father the British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith. However, Robert refused to give Smith an apology and avoided any conversation with him.
This escalated to the point that Harry Smith had asked Jake Roberts to “step outside” and settle the issue, only to have Jake The Snake respond by telling Harry to “f**k off”.
This obviously infuriated Smith, resulting in him throwing coffee into the face of Jake Roberts. According to Smith, Roberts’ daughter wanted to fight him over the incident and that they were trying to create a scene.
Smith went on to add that Jake Roberts had even offered him drugs back at WrestleCon in 2012.
