With last night’s announcement of the next WWE Superstar Shakeup scheduled to take place next Monday and Tuesday night’s during RAW & SmackDown LIVE, it has began speculation as to which WWE Superstars will be moved to the other brand.
Last night’s episode of RAW also saw the return of injured WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy, as well as the return to the company for Bobby Lashley.. not to mention main roster debuts for former NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon, and former NXT Tag Champions The Authors of Pain, and NXT Superstar No Way Jose. More surprises and call-ups are expected for tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown LIVE as well.
The topic of the upcoming Superstar Shakeup was discussed on the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, and Dave Meltzer noted that WWE is trying to not make their choices as obvious to predict this time around.
“Usually the guys who will be drafted are guys who are kind of put in a certain position either they don’t look good on the show, because the idea is that all is forgotten when they go over to the other side.
So does that mean that The Miz and Miztourage who just got humiliated on the show, Alexa Bliss got pinned by Ember Moon, Gallows and Anderson… I’m just throwing some names out there… That perhaps all of them are people we could look at to maybe be going over to the other side.”
So with that in mind, perhaps whoever we see take embarrassing losses or be put into unflattering positions on tonight’s SmackDown Live could be an indication as to who might be moved next week during the Superstar Shakeup.
