Rusev followed that up a while later posting a cryptic tweet possibly teasing an upcoming change for the WWE Superstar:

It had been reported a couple weeks ago, that Rusev was unhappy with his role within the company and that he had even asked for his release from WWE. However, with recent massive merchandise sales for Rusev, and possibly due to his request, Rusev was given a mild push and even added into the United States Championship Match at WrestleMania 34.
We will keep you updated if any more information becomes available regarding Rusev or the WWE Superstar Shakeup scheduled for next week.
