On the latest episode of “E & C’s Pod of Awesomeness“, WWE Hall of Famer Edge & Christian discussed last weekend’s WrestleMania 34. During the show the topic of the John Cena vs. Undertaker match came up, and Edge commented on it by saying that the match confused him.
“The Taker/Cena thing…I’m confused. The sitting in the crowd and the running to the back. What was it? A five minute match or something? Who knows going into, what limitations there are or anything like that. There’s an opportunity to have a dream match at WrestleMania. It felt lost somehow.”
Christian then speculated that WWE could still be working towards something for Cena and the Undertaker down the road.
“Maybe it’s something they go back to next year. It could be something where now you’re getting a year build to it. Maybe he’s calling him out for a year. I don’t know but I’m trying to put a positive spin on something.”
