In the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter it was reported that Vince McMahon is still considered to be a main event level talent by Vince McMahon.
The report states that Vince McMahon “is still highest on Corbin as a future major player” out of all of the talent on the WWE roster. It appears the plan in place is for WWE to push Baron Corbin towards the main event picture, which was originally started last year when the company debuted new entrance music and and updated entrance presentation.
Unless Corbin is moved to RAW during the WWE Superstar Shakeup next week, the advertised main event currently for the upcoming WWE Extreme Rules event that will see AJ Styles defending his WWE Championship in a triple threat match against Shinsuke Nakamura & Baron Corbin is most likely the first phase in Corbin’s push to the main event picture.
