IMPACT Wrestling Star Parts Ways With Company Over Creative Differences
Impact Wrestling Star Tyrus has officially announced via his instagram account that he has parted ways with Impact Wrestling citing differences creatively as reason for the decision.
Tyrus posted a message regarding his time with Impact Wrestling and the decision that was made to leave the company. Regarding his departure from Impact Wrestling Tyrus said:
“2014-2018 – I have been a part Impact Wrestling worked with a lot good people and for the most part enjoyed my time. Having said that… as I’ve grown … they well…. ummm. Change is good and there definitely have been a lot of changes and today after much contemplation it time for me to move on from Impact. Creatively we just don’t see eye to eye on anything and I beat EC3, so I’m good… I wish them well in there future endeavors… #nuffsaid”
Tyrus debuted with Impact Wrestling back in September of 2014 after previously spending the first 8 years of his wrestling career working for WWE.
Tyrus, who was known in WWE as Brodus Clay, was signed to a developmental contract with WWE in 2006. He spent the first 4 years of his time with WWE working in their developmental territories “Deep South Wrestling,” “Florida Championship Wrestling,” before being placed into the cast of season 4 of NXT (back when it was a reality tv style show and not a functioning promotion). He debuted on the WWE main roster on an episode of RAW in 2011 alongside Alberto Del Rio. He would compete for the company on their main roster for the next three years until being sent back to NXT (now serving as the NXT brand you see today) before being released from the company in June of 2014.
