Two NXT Superstars Suffer Serious Injuries And Require Surgery
WWE NXT Superstars Riddick Moss and Tino Sabbatelli will both miss a considerable amount of time after they each suffered serious injuries.
Dave Meltzer discussed their injuries recently on Wrestling Observer Radio noting that both Superstars will be out of action for close to a year after needing surgery to repair their injuries. Sabbatelli suffered a pectoral injury and had surgery a couple days ago. Riddick Moss has apparently suffered a torn Achilles tendon, and will also need surgery to repair.
Regarding the injuries to Sabbatelli and Moss, Meltzer said:
“Riddick Moss suffered a torn Achilles tendon which is a nasty injury so he’s going to be out for a long time. Him and Sabbatelli did that angle where they turned on each other and Sabbatelli he had surgery on his peck a couple days ago. So that’s probably close to 8 months.”
“Achilles tendon I was told that it might be 8 months. I mean I always — most of the time Achilles tendon injuries take close to a year. I don’t know if they’ve got better rehab or something like that because I was told it wouldn’t be 10 months to a year it would be a little less.”
