WWE’s Plan For The RAW Tag Team Championships Revealed
As seen on last night’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas have been repackaged and finally been given a new name for their team going forward. They duo will now be known as “The B-Team”.
The backstage segment on RAW last night where “The B-Team” wanted a shot at the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships was discussed on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio. During the discussion Dave Meltzer revealed that “The B-Team” challenging for the belts is actually the plan for Axel & Dallas going forward.
Regarding Axel & Dallas challenging for that RAW Tag Titles and the state of the tag division, Dave Meltzer said:
“They challenged Wyatt & Matt Hardy for the championship. Fans chanted their name. Them and Hardy & Wyatt, we already saw the match. It was nothing. Anyways, that’s the direction. I guess that just tells you the state of the tag team division.”
Meltzer did not go into detail and elaborate on when the feud between Axel & Dallas and Hardy & Wyatt will start, however he did indicate that WWE’s plan is for them to be the next challengers for the RAW Tag Team Titles.
