Sexual Assault Case Against Former WWE Superstar Enzo Amore Closed Due To Lack Of Evidence
Former WWE Superstar & Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore has be cleared of all charges against him and the case has been dropped due to insufficient evidence, stemming from the incident that occurred in Phoenix late last year that saw a young woman accuse Enzo of rape.
News broke of the charges and investigation against the then WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore in January of this year, just hours before the start of the 25th Anniversary episode of WWE Monday Night Raw – RAW 25. Enzo was suspended indefinitely once WWE officials became aware of the charges pending, and investigation being conducted against Amore. The company eventually made the decision to cut their losses and released Enzo Amore later that week.
Amore stood firm on his stance that he was innocent of all charges filed against him, and today it can be confirmed that is indeed the case as Enzo posted a photo to his official twitter account from his lawyer stating that the case has been dropped against his client, proving Enzo Amore’s innocence.

Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin also reported that he has confirmed the photo is legit, as he stated that the Phoenix Police confirmed to him that the investigation has been dropped against Amore.

A rep for the Phoenix Police Department just confirmed to me that Enzo's statement is accurate. The case has been closed due to insufficient evidence. They said that if new evidence is presented to them, however, it could always be re-opened.
