If you don’t follow the NXT brand you may not know who Velveteen Dream is. Velveteen Dream was a competitor on the most recent season of Tough Enough and used his real name Patrick Clark.
Velveteen Dream has found himself in NXT now and is slowly becoming a major star. How big of a star is he becoming? John Cena has even given major praise to Dream recently.
During a recent Q&A at MegaCon in Orlando, Cena stated that he feels Dream could be “The One” and he thinks there is something special about Dream.

Cena carries a lot of prestige and value with his name and just praised an up and coming star in Velveteen Dream.
One fan mentioned that it’s one thing if fans praise a superstar but once someone of John Cena’s caliber does it is finally heard.
