With the charges dropped and allegations cleared against former WWE Superstar Enzo Amore, many fans have been wondering if this will open the door for a possible return to the company for the former Cruiserweight Champion. However, it does not appear to be in the cards any time soon, as the allegations against Enzo was said to be the last straw, as he was already on thin ice with the company.
Mike Johnson commented on the situation with Enzo and WWE in a recent audio update via PWInsider Elite. Regarding Enzo Amore’s status with WWE, Johnson said:
“Enzo was not released just for the allegations it was described to me by several people who worked for the company and work for the company that it was more of a last straw situation. There had been times he had rubbed the members of the locker room the wrong way. There were times he had kind of said things they didn’t want him to say. There are ways that he carried himself and with this it was like, ‘okay enough is enough.’”
