In the latest column of Sports Illustrated, Justin Barrasso has speculated that Brock Lesnar is expected to drop his WWE Universal Championship before or at WWE SummerSlam in August.
Since Lesnar’s deal with WWE requires him to be paid per each match, he is expected to leave the company for UFC if he really does drop his title.
“According to sources close to WWE, Lesnar is widely expected to drop the belt, at the latest, by SummerSlam. Because Lesnar’s new contract pays him by the fight, dropping the belt could signal the end of his time in WWE.”
Brock Lesnar is not scheduled to appear at WWE Money in the Bank PPV yet on June 17 and his last appearance was at the WWE Greatest Royal Rumble mega event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on April 27.
