Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Live revealed that WWE is interested in bringing Rey Mysterio back in the WWE ring. Dave also said that Mysterio and WWE officials are in touch and discussing his next in-ring performance. Metzler also reported that we could see Mysterio back in the WWE ring by the end of the September.
Currently, Mysterio is working with New Japan Pro Wrestling, and he is set to compete in a match with Jushin Liger, and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Marty Scurll, Cody, & Adam Page tomorrow.
The return of the 619 star at 2018 Royal Rumble was shocking, and he added tremendous value to the 30-man match. Commentator Corey Graves mentioned during Royal Rumble match that Mysterio was in the best shape of his life.

A few weeks back Rey Mysterio mentioned that he has an idea that could lead to forming a Latino team with Sin Cara, and Andrade Cien Almas in the WWE. Mysterio wants to revive Latino World Order in WWE, and it could be possible that he wants to add value to the show than becoming a talent enhancer.
