Lucha Central has reported that former WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio is currently negotiating a three-year contract with WWE.
Ever since Mysterio returned to the company at the 2018 Royal Rumble, WWE has been in discussions that would see the former WWE Champion return to work for the promotion. Lucha Central also added that Mysterio wants to work a part-time schedule, which could be the reason, why WWE has been delaying his return to the company.
A few months back, Rey stated that he would like to revive Latino World Order in the WWE.
Author’s Take
I think WWE would bring him back to Smackdown because they need someone like Rey Mysterio to live up to the expectations once they make their move to the Fox Network.
