WWE Releases Big Cass
This right here is Big Cass. He’s seven foot tall. And you can’t teach that. But apparently you can fire him.. and that’s just what Vince McMahon and the WWE did today.

WWE released the following statement regarding the release of Big Cass via wwe.com saying, “WWE has come to terms on the release of William Morrissey (Big Cass).”
News out of the WWE has Big Cass hitting the unemployment line, less than a year after a Torn ACL derailed what seemed like a major push for the big fella and less than 48 HOURS after suffering a loss at the hands of Daniel Bryan at the Money in the Bank Pay Per View.
Big Cass had some heat on him backstage, according to a report that was featured right here on Bodyslam.net, due to him going off script and delivering a massive beatdown to a midget wrestler who was supposed to be parodying Daniel Bryan on SmackDown Live a few weeks back. It is not known however if that improvisation played into the decision made today to part ways with Cass from the WWE brass.
Big Cass could be a natural fit on the indy circuit. He’s got the look and a decent amount of power. However don’t be looking towards the Tag Team ranks to see if Cass and Enzo reunite their team. Enzo took a few shots at his former partner last week on a podcast. Neither man is probably in a rush to reach out to the other.
