WWE.com posted an exclusive interview today with WWE Superstar Sami Zayn.
In the interview, it’s revealed that Zayn has been working injured and eventually tore both of his rotator cuffs. He underwent surgery this afternoon.
Zayn has a history of shoulder injuries. He infamously tore his left shoulder during his Raw debut before his match with John Cena.
Zayn speculated that he should be back in time for WrestleMania season. A typical recovery period for a torn shoulder is about six months. Obviously, Zayn’s injury history, severity of injury and how he responds to physical therapy will play major factors in when he can return.
