WWE made a rather unpredictable move on Monday Night RAW a few months back when they teamed up Dolph Ziggler with Drew McIntyre.
The former Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre helped Ziggler secure the win against Seth Rollins for IC Title back on June the 16th episode of Monday Night RAW.
Jim Ross revealed that WWE loves the way McIntyre looks and his overall talent. Ross made it clear that Drew is going to become the WWE Universal Champion somewhere down the road.
Ross said, “[Drew] McIntyre looks great. He sounds great, he’s in great condition, he’s just getting better and better. He’s a big time player. I could see, very easily, Drew McIntyre being a Universal or WWE Champion down the road.
Without a doubt, it’s a lay-up. Trust me on this one.”
Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer has revealed that Drew McIntyre has teamed up with Ziggler so they can have a feud later on that will lead McIntyre to the main event.
