Daniel Bryan Has Not Signed A New Contract with WWE
Wrestling reporter Dave Meltzer has tweeted that Daniel Bryan has not re-signed with the WWE. WWE did not offer a long-term contract to the submission expert because they wanted to test Daniel Bryan performance and the universe reaction to his return.
Daniel Bryan hasn’t signed. Nothing has changed.

The short-term contract is going to expire at 2018 Summerslam, or even early because no one knows the exact length of his contract with the WWE.
Daniel Bryan has not competed in a title match, and he did not even go after the WWE Championship. The company did add him to the qualifying match, but everyone knows that he is not going to make it because WWE never lets a short-term contract wrestler become the WWE Champion.
