WWE Superstar Dean Ambrose has been out of action after undergoing triceps surgery late last year prior to this year’s Royal Rumble. Initially he was expected to be out of action for around 9 months.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer commented on Ambrose’s injury status and noted that he expects Ambrose to return soon.
“He’s supposed to be back sometime by I think pretty soon. I was told late-Summer and we’re mid-Summer so it shouldn’t be too long.”
It had been reported awhile back that Ambrose had recently moved to Birmingham, Alabama to intensify his rehab while recovering from surgery. So we might still have a chance of seeing Ambrose return by SummerSlam if not the night after on RAW.
