Former UFC Star Matt Riddle is easily considered one of the top prospects on the independent scene, and it appears as though the “Bro” could finally be WWE bound.
Matt Riddle’s future was discussed on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, and Dave Meltzer pointed out that Riddle has cancelled upcoming dates, which could indicate that he might be on his way to WWE. Regarding Matt Riddle, Meltzer said:
“Yeah, he’s probably WWE-bound. It’s time. I don’t want to say he was languishing but unless he was going to do Ring Of Honor which he wasn’t going to do or New Japan he might as well be in WWE. It’s his time to be a Superstar and he should be a Superstar somewhere with visibility. He’s done the European stuff for a long time. He’s great at it I think in NXT he’ll do phenomenal.”
