According to a post on Reddit by user Belt Fan Dan, who has been credited with several championship belt related stories previously, it appears that some new belts for WWE are completed or are close to being completed.
Belt Fan Dan says that the WWE 205 LIVE Tag Team Championship Title belts have been completed and are done, but there is no word on whether or not these belts will ever be introduced. As has been reported, WWE has no further plans for 205 Live house shows shows, which may indicate a different direction the company has decided to go with the brand.
The post also went on to state that the WWE UK Women’s and UK Tag Team Title Belts are nearly completed or are already done. It was already announced by Triple H that the company has plans for a UK Women’s Division and UK Tag Division that will be featured on NXT. So it would be assumed that those belts will soon be debuted.
He also went on to discussed the rumored “historic announcement” set for tonight’s episode of RAW from Stephanie McMahon which is expected to be Women’s Tag Team Titles. Dan stated that the Women’s Tag Titles, “are very similar to the men’s tag belts, but on white leather. The WWE logo is much larger and prominent in the design. Also the male gladiator helmets are more feminine.” There is a fan created version of the titles floating around based of Dan’s description.
Dan also claimed that his sources told him that, “the belts will be defended between brands. One source says just RAW and Smackdown, another source says there will be occasional NXT involvement.”
Dan made it a point numerous times to note that WWE has placed orders for belts in the past, but for some reason they were not used.
